Because of the Level II Trauma Center at Sutter Roseville Medical Center, Sutter Orthopedic Institute includes surgeons who specialize in orthopedic trauma and complex fractures. In addition to surgical treatment, Sutter facilities offer advanced diagnostic imaging tools that allow doctors to identify the location and extent of damage. For patients requiring extensive or longer inpatient rehabilitation care, Sutter provides an inpatient rehabilitation unit for acute rehabilitation at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital and a skilled nursing rehabilitation facility at Sutter Oaks Midtown. Many orthopedic patients also receive rehabilitation care at home through rehabilitation therapy provided by Sutter Visiting Nurses Association.
