What we do

At Sutter Heart & Vascular Institute, we help infants through adults deal with mild to life-threatening heart conditions. For 50 years, we've been delivering care at the highest level, conveniently located close to home. Our advanced diagnostic testing and treatment capabilities are among the finest, but they're only part of our big picture of care. We also offer informative classes, support groups, special events and exercise programs like Mall Walkers that make our patients part of one of the most capable care teams you'll find anywhere.

Sutter Heart & Vascular Institute's primary campus is Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento; but has programs at all area Sutter hospitals.

The Sutter Heart & Vascular Institute is the proud sponsor of two American Heart Association programs. The Go Red for Women movement promotes awareness for women's battle against heart disease. Start! is a heart healthy initiative which encourages walking as an on-the-job form of exercise.
